I've been a financial professional since 1996.  My core strength in this capacity is listening to and meeting the needs of our client.  I learned the importance of listening while serving in the United States Coast Guard from 1991-1994.  

As a husband and parent to three children, I've learned to recognize the "emotional economy" we all live in.  Making "deposits" and "withdrawals" happen here too.  I make those "emotional deposits" by continuing "Date Night" with my wife every other week, and letting her pursue her own interests.  I make sure to give our children individual time as well. 

I make systematic withdrawals for myself by competing as an elite level triathlete.  My love for Off Road Triathlons has helped me qualify as a Regional Midwest Champion and led to invitations for 2005 and 2006 to compete in the Nissan Xterra National Championships at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
